HOGAN FRIES REGATTA
The Hogan Fries Novice Regatta is an annual 1,500 meter race held at West Side on the Black Rock Canal. The regatta will be held on Sunday, November 3rd, 2024.
Hogan Fries is ONLY open to middle school, novice, and high school freshmen crews that practice in the Buffalo, NY area. It is a middle school/novice introduction to racing!
Parking
Parking is available at the West Side Rowing Club but the lot is likely to fill up. Additional parking can be found on the street.

The regatta is a great volunteer opportunity as many people are needed to ensure the safety of participants. West Side is willing and able to sign any documents to attest to the completion of community service hours for a school or other organization.

RACE DAY INFORMATION:
Food and regatta merchandise are available.
Medals are assigned to 1st place crews ONLY.
Packet pick-up occurs before the coaches and coxswains meeting the morning of the race.
