We at WSRC believe that anyone who wants to row should be able to, no matter their background or economic circumstance.

If you qualify by Household Gross Yearly Income (see chart below), or you receive any federal aid/benefits, our Middle School Program is 100% FREE of cost.* Every submitted application is reviewed, so if you are unsure if you qualify, we recommend you still apply.

*West Side Rowing Club uses 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines to determine the need for financial assistance for Middle School Rowing.

Children who are members of households receiving Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits (formerly the Food Stamp Program), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Aid for Families With Dependent Children (AFDC), Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP), Medicaid, Social Security Disability (SSD), Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Section 8, or Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) may also be eligible for free or reduced membership dues. Although not required, eligible families are encouraged to apply for a reduction in membership fees.

Documented proof of the family’s Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) as indicated on IRS Form 1040 Tax Return or Proof of Federal Financial Assistance may be requested to verify middle school rowing financial assistance.
