2025 ADULT FALL PROGRAMS
This 7-week Fall Rowing League (FRL) program is designed for rowers who previously rowed in SRL or have prior rowing experience, to row together as a team in an eight-person shell. Teams may consist of rowers with one season of rowing, past rowing experience, or mixed beginner skill levels. During the 90-minute 1:1 ratio coached practice session, rowers will learn basic rowing technique and boat moving skills, both on land and on the water, in a fun and low intensity environment. Rowers will work together as a team in an eight-person shell. Teams are made of 11 rowers with a mix of male and female rowers. Each team is eligible to participate in the Head of the Niagara Regatta held on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at West Side. (All regatta fees are included in program cost) Why 11 rowers per team and not 8? We want to ensure if 1-2 members of your team can't make practice due to work or family commitments, your 8-person shell can still go out for practice. Practices which fall on holidays will be rescheduled at the convenience of the coach and crew. Typically, makeup sessions will be held on Saturdays or Sundays and when equipment is available.
Note: Coxswains are limited in the Fall season, so each crew will be required to take turns coxing themselves. TeamSnap will be used to organize practices/line-ups. If practice is cancelled due to weather conditions, a make-up session will be planned for the following weekend if it cannot take place in the tank or erg room.
Note: Fall 2025 payment is due no later than Tuesday, September 15, 2025. A late fee penalty of $50 will be applied to all Regatta Central accounts on Wednesday, September 16, 2025, with outstanding balances. Athlete registration and signed online waivers are due prior to attending practice. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Cost: $269 (WSRC FRL Shirt included)
Sessions are offered Monday through Thursday from 6:00-7:30pm with Coach Corinne Kazmierczak
A TeamSnap will be used to organize practices. If practice is cancelled due to weather conditions, a make-up session will be planned for the following weekend if it cannot take place in the tank or erg room due to another program utilizing the space.

Developmental Rowing
Experienced Rowers Only
This 9-week program (September 2 - November 2) is designed to be a non-competitive program for rowers who are interested in a technical workout focused on breaking down and improving individual rowing skills. Developmental Rowing is not intended for travel or competition, but instead emphasizes technique, efficiency, and personal progress in a supportive environment.
Participants will row primarily in eights (8+), with possible use of fours (4+), based on group size and shell availability.
