USRowing Senior Development Camp

A program for both collegiate men and women, accommodating all levels of rowing, from recreational to a competitive USRowing Development Camp.  The goals of our Development Camp are to provide an opportunity for athletes to participate in and contribute to a successful summer racing program while enabling the athletes to maximize their summer development in a selection camp environment. All participants must have a US passport or an enhanced driver's license for land travel to Canada. 

Practice Times: Weekdays 5:45-7:45 am
Saturday AM: Time TBA

Junior U17 & U19 Competitive Programs

The competitive Junior U17 & U19 programs at West Side provide experienced athletes with top-quality instruction, training, and racing in a more intense competitive and supportive atmosphere. Athletes placed in these programs will have the opportunity to race competitively at some or all of the regional, national, or international regattas.  Open to any high school student who wants to develop as an athlete and enhance rowing skills. This is a great opportunity to work on rowing fundamentals.

Junior Men- Practices run 7:30am-9:30am week days and Saturday mornings (time TBA). The official season begins June 13.
Junior Women- Practices run 7:00 am- 9:00 am weekdays, and Saturday mornings (time TBA). Season begins June 13.

Junior Learn-to-Scull

Train and learn to row in Singles, Doubles, and Pairs.

Great Coach to Athlete ratio!

Practices will run Monday-Thursday, 10:00 AM- 11:30 AM.

There will be THREE sessions. Click on the dates you want to sign up for to register.

20 athletes max each session. Athletes can participate in this program in addition to the Jr sweep program in the AM. This is designed to develop boat feel and enhance technique. One full season of rowing is necessary for this program

 

Adult Learn-to-Row 

Come and experience everything you always wanted to learn about rowing! One Session - 6 Weeks - Starting on Friday May 19, 2017 at 6:00pm, ending Sunday June 25th! Classes are 3 days a week: Fri ; 6:00-8:00pm and Sat & Sunday 11:00a.m-1:00 for the 6 consecutive weekends. Experience the thrill of learning to row and then row into the Adult Recreational Team! Adult Rec rows till mid October !!! So come learn a sport you can do for LIFE!

Cost: $500

Adult Club Team (formerly Adult Recreational Rowing)

An adult program for those who want to row casually during the week. Spring indoor season starts Monday, 3/27 Practice days are Mon – Wed. at 6:00 and Sunday mornings at 8:30 Water time begins 4/1 on weekends: Saturday at 11:00 and Sunday at 9:00. Beginning 5/31 season is 4 days – above schedule plus adding Thursdays Fall schedule follows spring schedule beginning 9/9 weekend.

Cost is $500

Adult Competitive Team (formerly Masters Rowing)

Spring indoor season starts Monday, 3/27 Practice days are Mon – Wed. at 6:00 and Sunday mornings at 8:30 Water time begins 4/1 on weekends: Saturday at 11:00 and Sunday at 8:30, eventually going to 9:00 after the school season. Beginning 5/31, the season is 4 days – above schedule plus Thursdays. Fall schedule follows spring schedule, beginning the weekend of 9/9, with the addition of Wednesday evenings.

Alumni Rowing

Weekly rowing for alumni will take place on Wednesday nights, from 6-7:30 pm. $25 for the first three rows and $10 after that. Refreshments after every row!
